Not so long ago, cooking recipes lived only in family books. Today any dish is two clicks away. Construction is moving in the same direction: installing a drywall partition in Brazil is, in essence, the same process as in Germany – same physics, labor steps and resource use. The only difference is the local cost of people, materials and machines.
For almost 10 years I’ve been automating cost calculations and connecting CAD (BIM) with ERP systems. The workflows are ready (n8n, Sim_ai, Jupyter Notebook etc.) – but I always lacked one thing: a clean, detailed and open database of works described through resources.
This is why I built this open-source database in 9 languages for 9 countries.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞:
55,719 unique work items based on 27,672 resources, each with:
▪️ labor hours
▪️ machine hours
▪️ water consumption
▪️ electricity consumption
▪️ CO₂ footprint

I’ve already vectorised the dataset so we can tap into decades of structured know-how collected from real construction sites.
