🚀 We are entering the era of BIM Level 3—noBIM.
24 October 2024Is interoperability a goal or an illusion?
7 November 2024The ground beneath the construction and design industry is about to shake!
Milestones for 2023:
👀 Autodesk suddenly advocates for granular, normalized, and structured data.
👀 All CAD vendors, without exception, are implementing CAD data converters (BIM).
👀 Amazon and Huawei, once just giants in data storage, are racing against the clock to normalize and structure CAD (BIM) data.
📈 The Python Pandas library for working with structured, normalized data is being downloaded up to 6 million times per day.
Milestones for 2024:
👀 NVIDIA's CEO reports that 30% of computing resources are dedicated to data processing, much of it involving structured DataFrames.
👀 The Meta team is releasing a free LLaMa 3.1 model demonstrating how to handle structured, normalized data as the main case study.
📈 Python Pandas library downloads have surged to a maximum of 12 million times a day.
Why It Matters
🤖 LLM agents (advanced AI models) combined with structured data are poised to replace millions of construction and design professionals. Just as mechanization changed agriculture a century ago, AI is set to revolutionize our industry!
🌾 The Big Question: Office workers who've been moving data from one spreadsheet to another for decades—where will they go now?
I think I have an answer to that...
Say NO to the slavery of keys, closed APIs, and subscription models that deny you access to your own data! In the future, we won't be selling each other UI software - we'll eventually start working with data streams and analytics, analyzing data and building countless machine learning models.
⚖️ Are you ready to adapt and start working with data in this new era, or will you be left behind dealing with a zoo of programs imposed by software vendors who don't even understand how the construction business works?
