New version of the DDC Revit plugin, added versions: +Revit 2025, +Revit 2026

For a long time, one of the biggest challenges in project data management has been keeping Revit models aligned with constantly changing parameters. Autodesk’s policy changes and the shift to the new SDK-style API made this task even harder.

We had to completely re-engineer our workflow:
▪️migrate the project to the new SDK-style
▪️ adapt functionality to the updated Revit API
▪️ rethink how data can flow seamlessly between Revit and Excel (Database)

The result? A full-scale tools that finally makes the process smooth and transparent:
1️⃣ Export all project data from Revit (via n8n, CMD command, Python code, or Excel plugin)
2️⃣ Edit or create parameters and their values directly in Excel, Database or as DataFrame (using n8n, Pandas, or Excel).
3️⃣ Import the updated table (or database) back into Revit — and the entire project updates automatically with Plugin

What used to take hours of manual clicking in Revit can now be done in minutes, with a clear, reproducible workflow that keeps project data under control.

🙋‍♂️ If you know a tool that allows you to update and change parameters from Revit (outside Revit) faster and more productively than in this version - please write in the comments, it will be interesting to compare.

♻️ Feel free to forward this post to a colleague - for example, a BIM Manager who still spends hours manually updating parameters in Revit or relies on costly tools. They might be glad to know that there are now free and convenient solutions available for parameter management.
